One payment. Yours for life.

Family Ark is a one-time purchase — not a subscription. Bug fixes and minor feature updates are free, always. (If we ever ship a genuinely major redesign down the road, that would be offered as a separate paid upgrade — but everyday updates never cost anything extra.)

Windows

$29 — on sale now for $9.99

System Requirements

Internet connection: only needed for the one-time runtime download; Family Ark itself works fully offline

Operating System: Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit

Disk Space: ~200 MB free

Requires the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime (x64) — the installer will prompt you to download it if it’s missing

Android

$29 — on sale now for $9.99 (Available from Android Store soon)

If you download from the Family Ark site, this isn’t a Play Store install, so it will be different. Android will show an “install blocked” or “unknown sources” warning the first tim

System Requirements Android

  • Operating System: Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
  • Storage: ~100 MB free (app + local encrypted database)
  • Camera and microphone access: optional, only needed if you use in-app photo/video capture for documents or personal messages
  • Internet connection: not required — Family Ark stores everything locally and encrypted on your device

Worth knowing: Family Ark is local-only, so your Windows copy and your Android copy are two separate, independent vaults — they don’t sync with each other, but you can use the same backup/restore or Transfer to New Device procedure to move the data base to a new device or a second device. The original device would generate an encryption for the new or second device. The bundle gets you both, each with its own encrypted data or a backup of the original.
